• Cannot be held accountable for any and all materials that you or anyone using your account may find on the Internet.
• Cannot be held liable for any offensive, obscene or pornographic materials found on the Internet.
• Resigns all responsibility to any files obtained through the Internet or SCS Internet whether they are illegally hacked, garbage files or registered software.
• Does not guarantee access to all or any system on the Internet.
• Is not responsible for downtime outside our own facilities.

By using this service, you are acknowledging that SCS Internet is not responsible for any material found on the Internet; that we are merely the link between the end user and the Internet.  SCS Internet, and any person associated with or employed by SCS Internet, cannot be held liable for accessibility to the Internet.

Terms and Conditions of Service:

• As a user of SCS Internet, you are expected to abide by the terms of your commitment.
• Any attempts to compromise the security/integrity of our systems or violate the privacy of our customers which includes mass mailings (SPAM) will result in the termination of the offender's account without notice and forfeiture of remaining balance and possible legal action taken as a result.  SCS Internet will cooperate fully with all legal authorities.
• Allocated disk space and/or bandwidth resources may not be used to store or transmit information or content which is of an illegal nature.  This includes piracy of copyrighted works, threatening, obscene, defamatory or hateful messages, and any other use that would violate local, provincial, national and/or international laws.  SCS Internet will cooperate fully with all legal authorities.   SCS Internet reserves the right to decline to host any material which may be considered controversial at our discretion.
• Unlimited access should not be construed as dedicated access.  It is against our policy for clients to use keepalive programs to stay connected when they are not attending their computer.
• Multiple, simultaneous dialup logins are not permitted.
• While all software supplied to users is given with the expectation that it will perform well on the end user's computer, SCS Internet makes no claims as to the performance or utility of this software as it is free and/or shareware software and is not written by SCS Internet nor its adjoining parties.
• SCS Internet will provide technical support at no cost for current accounts: to establish your Internet connection and set up your e-mail account.  Hardware and Software problems on the end user's equipment remain the responsibility of the end user.  We endeavor to provide technical support to cover most popular Internet software packages, but cannot guarantee knowledge or expertise in all Internet related software.  We are not responsible for a lack of knowledge by the end user regarding use of the Internet or their computer.
• Each account is permitted one home page which may contain multiple files which are jointly related, whose physical disk space does not exceed 10MB of storage.
• All accounts are non-refundable and there is a thirty-five (35) dollar charge for all returned NSF cheques, returned Automatic Debit transactions, and declined Automatic MasterCard or Visa transactions.  To cancel your account we require thirty (30) days notice in writing.  Any account changes or re-activation on interrupted service are subject to a twenty (20) dollar administration charge.  Accounts placed on 'accounting-hold' in the case of NSF payment or no payment, continue to acrue charges until the end of the accounting period.
• Use of SCS Internet service constitutes acceptance to the Terms and Conditions of Service and Disclaimer.
• SCS Internet reserves the right to revoke accounts and/or refuse membership and/or access to our servers without notice and with forfeiture of remaining balance should these terms be violated.
